Last Weekend we went to Bangkok for a 2-day swim meet. (Tiss Swim meet season)
We arrived in Bangkok Friday afternoon and had a terrible taxi ride to the Hotel, Mum was scarred as he was driving under a truck on the highway. then after sitting in traffic going nowhere for over 20min he took a wrong turning and as we found out later went around the block which took about 20min, by this stage I had had enough and wanted “out” especially since we were across the road from the hotel and still going nowhere ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!! “out out”

So no swim Friday night 🙁 as it was too late.

Then a very early wake up and a 30min bus ride out to the swim meet.  The school had an awesome playground and some fun stuff to do in one of the gyms.
Just as I was going to get my swim at lunchtime a thunderstorm hit, so no swim 🙁
We ended up being the last bus to leave and didn’t get back to the Hotel till about 8pm after dinner the pool got closed, so no swim again on Saturday 🙁

Sunday was only a half day, so after playing with Dad a lot in the PlayGround we went back home and Finally Got to swim in the pool 🙂 YAY!! 🙂

Monday was spent swimming in the pool and playing in the PlayGround at the Hotel and a ride on the Tuk Tuk taxi to go shopping with Mum. Tuesday we went for a shopping trip 🙂 and had 1 more swim before we flew back to Singapore.

The other week, we spent the whole weekend up at the Sports School for the Singapore Swiming Nationals.
A long long swim meet, On Friday night Dad stayed up there till our last swimmer swam at 11pm, it went on till 1145pm.  Mum took me home at about 845pm, a late night but not as late as those poor 8yr girls swimming 100m Butterfly.

From a couple of weeks ago

Will do my best to get these updates done, have had a very busy month.
With Singapore Swimming Nationals, a Swim meet in Bangkok plus being sick and not sleeping well for a few days. And the usual swim lessons, gym classes, shopping trips ect it has been a busy month.

Will update chronologically to keep things in order, and may take a couple of days

Here is me in my chair just before going off to swimming with mum.

Yesterday was the last day of my package at gym, the teachers where very sad when dad tyold them we weren’t signing back up.  Mum and Dad have been looking around for gymnastics classes for me, or maybe Dad n I just go to Gym and can playgym. I really enjoyed playing with the kids yesterday and went 1st on a lot of the activities 🙂

On Sunday we went to zoo for breakfast, and had breakfast with the Orungutan’s, the man taught us that they are not monkeys as they don”t have a tail.

As well as having Breakfast with the Orangutan’s, I fed the elephant, he was smelly and Hot breath from his trunk.  I also patted the snake, he was very beautiful 🙂

After Breakfast we went to the show which was fun, I liked the bangy drums and the man went splash in the pool 🙂

Then we went to the water playground, had a BIG long play and it wasn’t as cold in the morning as it normally is.

After the playground we made our back out past the lions, zebras, giraffes otters and cockies.

This month I miss out on my 17 month birthday, I guess it is today as it’s the end of the month. But Anthony Robbins misses out on his birthday, hard to believe he’s only 12.

Today I wanted to go out for a drive, eventually dad took me out and it was raining so hard we could hardly see out the window.  We ended up going to VivoCity/Harbourfront.  There was a birthday party on at Gym so couldn’t go, but after we had a coffee and cake (ok I juice and biscuit) it had stopped raining enough to go to the playground. I had a lot of fun, the slide was so fast 🙂

Dad asked me to pose for a photo 🙂 so I did :-),Dad  said that Aunty Sam would like my new found talent of modelling 🙂

Here I am ready to go swimming with Mum and Coach Ann this morning.  I am getting really good at my swimming.  I can go 1,2,3 up to take a breath and can dive all the way down(with help) to the bottom and get the  dive sticks, I have to help the other kids in the class.
